Script: X3TC Cheat Package v1.41
Cycrow es, además de uno de los mejores creadores de scripts para X3, betatester del juego y ha creado un script que permite hacer cualquier truco imaginable en el juego, a excepción de completar la misión en curso y alguna cosa más. Para descargarlo basta con pasarse por este mensaje del foro de Egosoft e instalarlo usando el Plugin Manager.
Todas las opciones del sistema de trucos, se recomienda no abusar e incluso no usarlo nunca jamás ya que muchas de sus opciones arrancan de cuajo el desafío al juego.
Una de las opciones del Plugin Manager es que permite tener scripts instalados, pero desactivados; y es así precisamente como debemos mantener este script para no perder la esencia del juego: desactivado. Los que conocéis el juego ya sabéis que hacer algo como darse una cantidad ilimitada de dinero o crearse naves muy potentes es equivalente a cargarse la partida: si no hay que luchar por nada con el sudor de nuestras manos (sobre el joystick) seguir jugando no sirve para nada. Sin embargo, tampoco hay que prescindir de él, ya que realmente hay algunas misiones de la trama que son de locos y, si bien no son imposibles, exigen ser repetidas tantas veces que la única alternativa a la desesperación y/o tirar el juego a la basura es usar este script.
Aunque uno lo instale sólo “para emergencias” si lo dejamos activado provocará que en todo momento en el que tengamos una dificultad estemos tentados de usarlo y al final abusemos de él. Debemos dejarlo siempre desactivado y usarlo sólo cuando realmente merece la pena, ya que la pereza que provoca tener que cerrar el juego para activarlo será motivo más que suficiente para no usarlo nunca a excepción de cuando realmente es necesario.
